City of Masvingo has over the past few years failed to complete the landfill which would replace the problematic dumpsite located between Runyararo West and Victoria Ranch.

During a Public Finance Management Community Interface organized by Vendors Initiative for Social and Economic Transformation (VISET) and Masvingo United Residents Ratepayers Alliance (MURRA) at Chevron Hotel on 07 January, councillors said the new dumpsite in Cambria farm was expected to finally be commissioned by this year, 2025.
